CPRI is currently looking for an experienced social work professional who will provide clinical social work services and case management to the Homeshare Program, a highly complex program designed to provide long-term alternative family home placements for developmentally challenged children and adults experiencing multiple challenges.

**What can I expect to do in this role?**: You will:

- provide social work services focused on support, supervision and case management;
- consult and liaise with other disciplines, family and community partners as required, to establish appropriate programming and follow-up;
- monitor, advocate for and support placements on an ongoing basis, and;
- participate in professional and community education and research activities.

**How do I qualify?**:
**Mandatory**:

- You are registered as a Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers OR you are eligible for registration
- You have a valid Ontario driver's license

**Specialized Knowledge and Experience**:

- You have knowledge of and experience with a broad range of social work methods with a clinical focus
- You have knowledge of therapeutic and counseling techniques to provide clinical social work treatment programs to specialized children with multiple disabilities, their families and Homeshare parents
- You have knowledge of Child Welfare legislation and community resources
- You are knowledgeable in family dynamics, counseling and case management

**Skills**:

- You have exceptional counseling, communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, families, Homeshare parents, staff and community agencies
- You have demonstrated tact, patience, flexibility, resourcefulness in order to build rapport with client with diverse backgrounds and complex needs
- You have community networking skills to facilitate referrals to community agencies
- You have problem-solving skills to assess client needs, provide appropriate support, ensure compliance with policies and legislation
