**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Health Services Manager or delegate, the Clerk B is the inpatient point of contact, responsible for the following: greeting patients and families, scheduling patient appointments and transfers, ordering and stocking, support in filling sick calls, coordination of incoming and outgoing mail, phone calls, charts, assisting in the general organization, patient flow and efficiency of the inpatient and emergency/outpatient department and maintaining accurate statistics as required.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Grade XII plus completion of a recognized one year office administration/business program, or one year related clerical experience working in an inpatient department required
- Knowledge of medical terminology is required
- Experience with PHS and STAR registration preferred
- Strong knowledge and working proficiency of computers required
- Data entry experience preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to organize and prioritize duties required
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality required
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

**Hours**:

- Long Assignment Full-Time (100%) position, 70 Hours Bi-Weekly
- Beginning as soon as possible, with an expected end date of December 29, 2024.

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$20.09 - $21.91 Hourly
