**No travel, regular shifts in a local, modern manufacturing facility If you like to keep busy and enjoy a variety of things to do in a shift, then the role of a CNC Bandsaw Operator might be a great fit.**

**We have an opening on our day shift from Mon-Fri 7:00 to 3:30pm. The position is located in Red Deer.**

In addition to experience in a manufacturing, mechanical or machining environment, we are looking for someone who has an positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn and problem solve. Not sure if you have all the qualifications? **We are willing to train the right applicants who show initiative, want to learn and want to build a career in manufacturing.**

Your varied duties may include:

- Operate a Manual and CNC Bandsaw to cut steel for CNC Machine work orders.
- Read and interpret engineered drawings to obtain cut lengths.
- Move material to and from operation area.
- Able to prioritize and execute a job plan to ensure proper machines have work as needed.
- Process work orders and paperwork to ensure traceability and accuracy.
- Raw material inventory management and organization.
- Raw material inventory counts when required.
- Regular machine and work area clean up.
- Regular preventive maintenance
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.

Qualifications: N/A
- Overhead crane experience as asset
- Forklift experience an asset
- Able to lift 50lbs minimum.

To ensure all employees are able to work safely in more physically demanding roles like this one, we will require successful completion of a fitness assessment for this role.
