**Duties and responsibilities**
- Providing support and services within professional teams under the direct or indirect supervision of a Physician
- Developing rapport with patients and families and providing education
- Documenting patient care and compliance with quality standards
- Ordering and conducting medical investigations under the supervision of a Physician
- Assessing the condition and needs of a patient based on interviews, interactions, and observations
- Performing selected diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
- Ordering and interpreting patient laboratory and radiological results
- Completing any mandatory training outlined by their employer
