Job Overview:
CPE Mère Framboise is a reputable daycare center located in Kirkland, QC in close proximity to highways 20 and 40. Our team of dedicated and talented staff provide exceptional daycare services and educational programming including the offering of nutritious, varied, and tasty snacks and meals for children ages 6 months to 5 years. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join the CPE Mère Framboise team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for meal preparation, food handling, and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to the nutritional well being of children.

**Duties**:

- Develop seasonal menus, responsible for purchase orders, repecting budgets
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the food service industry
- Possess a diploma of professional studies (DPE) in institutional cooking
- Experience with dietary restrictions and food allergies
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.48-$23.54 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
