**SERVICE/HELP DESK SUPPORT CONSULTANT**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to MS Azure Environments and MS Active Directory, identifying root causes and providing timely solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate complex issues and ensure swift resolution.
- Provide step-by-step guidance to end-users in resolving technical problems, including software, hardware, and network-related issues.
- Document and maintain accurate records of support requests, actions taken, and solutions provided in the ticketing system.
- Assist in creating and updating technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and user guides to improve self-service options for clients.
- Conduct remote troubleshooting sessions using remote desktop tools to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in MS Azure and Active Directory technologies to provide up-to-date support.
**EXPERIENCE**
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar technical support role, preferably in a Help Desk or Service Desk environment.
- Strong proficiency in MS Azure Environments and MS Active Directory is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues methodically.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding service to clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Relevant technical certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, are a plus.
**WORK SCHEDULE**
- This position involves shift work, Monday through Friday, to ensure coverage during regular business hours. Flexibility to work on a rotational basis is required to provide support during different shifts.
**LOCATION**
- The role is based in Ottawa and requires the consultant to work onsite.
