Intermediate Framer

**Job description**:
The intermediate-level position will be performing tasks including (but not limited to) the below:

- Building inside and outside walls (familiarity with high walls helps)
- Setting joists and trusses
- Installing fascia
- Sheeting roofs
- Being sent to perform tasks independently
- Helping to lift walls, carrying sheets, etc.
- Cleaning job site and organizing lumber
- Additional support as necessary

Additional tasks will be dictated by experience level.

**Hours/wages**:

- Mon-Fri (occasionally, one day on the weekend during heavy production times may be required)
- 7:00am-4:30pm (2 breaks)
- $22/hr starting, dependant on experience. Quick advancement and salary growth opportunities based on your work.

**Work conditions and physical capabilities required**:

- Physically demanding (we build houses)
- Handling heavy items (be able to walk with 50 lb+)
- Using chainsaws, skill saws, nail guns, etc. safely and efficiently
- Climbing ladders, bending, crouching, kneeling
- Working at heights
- Working outdoors in all climates, summer and winter (as is safe)

- Reliable (extremely important)
- Good work ethic (hustle is rewarded more so than your past experience)
- Positive attitude and an open mind
- Team player (good at following direction and working in a team environment)
- Flexible schedule (availability to work extended hours occasionally)
- **Transportation to the job site each day. **Having your own vehicle in good working condition is necessary, as many of these locations are not close to public transportation. **(REQUIRED, NON-NEGOTIABLE)**:

- Basic safety wear and hand tools, including: steel toe safety work boots, hard hat (not white; blue preferred), pouch, hammer, speed square, nail bar, measuring tape, chalk line, utility knife, pencils. **(REQUIRED, NON-NEGOTIABLE)**:

- Proper clothing and supplies for the weather (ie. warm clothing in the winter, sunscreen and water bottles in the summer, etc.)
- Experience using a skill saw, chainsaws, nail guns, chop saws, HILTI/powder-actuated guns
- Have your own fall safety equipment and an understanding of working at heights safety
- Have a valid 'Working at Heights' training course certificate. _Please include this in your resume if you have a valid Working at Heights certificate._
