We are looking for a Blaster/Driller at our Walker - Duntroon Quarry location.

**Blaster/Driller**

We’re looking for an experienced Blaster/Driller to work in our Duntroon Quarry. This is a year-round position.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Conduct operational check in carrier drill and attachments
- Drilling bench to specified depths
- Inspecting drilling for accuracy
- Performing routine maintenance on drill and attachments
- Reporting deficiencies as per manufacturers specifications

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of directly related experience
- 2+ years’ experience operating heavy equipment, specifically a drill
- Exposure to different drilling environments and techniques is preferred
- Experience working in a quarry or sand and gravel pit is an asset
- Knowledge of explosives, as well as clearance for working around explosives is an asset
- Common Core Training is an asset
- Great situational awareness

The typical hours for this position are Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work during our operating season.
