Production Operator

MAAAX Ontario Equine is currently expanding our operations at our Durham facility.

The responsibilities of the Plant Operator include but are not limited to the following:

- Operation of the cubing system, associated equipment, equipment maintenance and associated record keeping in a manufacturing environment.
- Monitor and maintain quality control procedures during production.
- Forklift operation.

Operation of heavy equipment including front end loaders, telehandlers etc
- Operating plant using automated computer control.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems. Coordinate with supervisor to initiate repairs.
- Communicate with other team members to maintain a consistent rate of production.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- This is a flexible work environment. You must demonstrate the ability to learn and perform all production related positions. ie; bagging, shipping, cubing, bale grinding and drier operation.

Required abilities:

- Well organized and efficient.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Motivated, goal oriented and easy to adapt to changes.
- Flexible regarding working longer hours, meeting tight deadlines.
- Work with little supervision independently as well as with others in a team.
- Confidential treatment of business information; loyal and honest.
- Some travel may be occasionally required.
- Agricultural equipment operation a large asset.

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durham, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Machine Operator: 1 year (preferred)
