**Role** **overview**

We are currently seeking a highly skilled **SAP HANA Basis Administrator** who will be catering to clients in North America and supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales/delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

**What you’ll do**
- Develop proactive monitoring for HANA databases, using automation where possible
- Review existing HANA database(s) for configuration/tuning improvements
- Develop/Document best practices for SAP HANA Solve and share knowledge with existing Basis team

**What you bring to the role**
- 3+ years experience with installing, configuring, monitoring and tuning SAP HANA 2.0 SP05 or greater
- 2+ years experience with installing, configuring, monitoring and tuning SAP HANA XS Advanced
- Experience with SAP HANA Cockpit Manager to administer/tune HANA databases
- Experience using RHEL linux
- Good interpersonal skills
- Experience developing operational documentation

**Nice to Have**
- Experience using SAP HANA Native Storage Extension (NSE) with SAP HANA 2.0 SP05 or greater
- Experience with HANA SSO SAML authentication
- Certification in SAP HANA DB 2.0
- Experience with SAP BTP administration
- Experience configuring/handling SAP ChaRM for CTS and CTS+ landscapes
- 5+ years Basis Administration experience
