Farm Hand

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment and farm machinery safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the planting, cultivating, and harvesting of crops as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various farm tasks, including repairs and maintenance.
- Perform irrigation duties to ensure crops receive adequate water supply.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and machinery, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Carry out heavy lifting tasks as required for moving materials or equipment across the farm.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Support garden maintenance activities, including weeding, pruning, and pest control.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with farm machinery.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly throughout the day.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for measuring materials or calculating areas as needed.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety practices on the farm.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor consistently.
- Previous experience in farming or agricultural roles is a plus but not required.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
