Security Guard

**Position Available: Licensed Security Guards**

**Location**: Midland and Surrounding Areas

**Type**: Part-Time with Potential for Full-Time

**About Us**: We are expanding our team and looking for dedicated, professional, licensed security guards to ensure the safety and security of industrial and commercial premises in the Midland area and its surroundings. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct patrols of industrial and commercial premises to prevent intrusions and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances promptly.
- Monitor and manage the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other individuals to prevent theft and maintain premises security.
- Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, irregularities, and incidents, including property or equipment damage, theft, unauthorized presence, or unusual occurrences.
- Support police or fire departments during emergencies.
- Maintain order and protect property by circulating among visitors, patrons, and employees.

**Requirements**:

- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid Ontario Driver's License.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in generating and distributing shift reports in a timely manner.
- Team player with a positive attitude, honesty, and high motivation.
- Clean criminal record.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification.

**Additional Qualifications Desired**:

- WHMIS certification.
- Smart Serve certification.
- Access to a reliable vehicle.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$17.51 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
