Technical Content Writer

Profire Energy is looking to grow our marketing department with the addition of a dedicated and passionate Technical Content Writer. If you are someone who has a positive attitude, a love for grammar, the Oxford comma, and a hunger to expand your knowledge of the industrial combustion world, then this position is for you.

You will be working closely with the Marketing Manager to conquer an ongoing list of projects for departments ranging from sales to R&D. You will occasionally collaborate with an external firm to ensure brand consistency while maintaining a customer-centered approach. You must be comfortable working with deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously, while prioritizing tasks accordingly. From SEO Articles to White Papers, we are looking for a brilliant writer to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create print and digital collateral promoting Profire products such as Burner Management Systems, Fuel Trains, Pilots, and more
- Translate technical information into digestible documents for both technical and non-technical users
- Conduct detailed analysis of user content needs, partnering with internal teams and stakeholders in the process
- Write blog posts to promote products and company culture
- Write Success Stories and Case Studies based on client experiences
- Create Social Posts in line with our content strategy
- Create Search Engine Optimized copy & optimize existing content
- Support sales team with customer presentations and associated collateral

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or technical degree or diploma in Technical Writing, Communications, English, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 2-5 Years of experience in content writing
- Outstanding English language writing, editing, and communication skills
- Excellent research, observation, synthesis and analytical skills
- Familiarity with HubSpot CRM is an asset
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment and independently
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and adhere to tight timelines
- Solid understanding of SEO Best Practices and key principles

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
