Drossbach, a Delfingen Company is currently looking to hire a Quality Technician for our Trenton, Ontario location. This position is responsible for making sure quality, engineering and manufacturing processes are performed according to Company, Client and Industry quality standards using the right tools, materials and processes. This position will report to the Plant Manager.

**Main activities**
- Develops visual aids, quality alerts and process control cards as needed.
- Conduct and reviews 8D reports, initiates containment process, including the assignment of RMA and required sorting activities.
- Analyze internal rejections and formulate corrective actions with follow-up implementation of effectiveness.
- Enforce that all quality related functions are performed according to internal procedures and quality policy.
- Assist in training new personnel to perform required duties (PPAP, Calibration, In-Process Inspection, etc.).
- Conducts audits, studies and activities required to ensure Quality System Compliance and reports results to site management.
- Development of quality work instructions and presentations.
- Maintains internal quality records.
- Review of quality information on new part entries.
- Assist on the implementation of internal ECN.
- Review deviations and make sure these are properly documented.
- Other duties as assigned by the or Plant Manager

**Technical skills required for the job**

All job training will be done in accordance with the Drossbach Quality Management System. Within the scope of this procedure, additional proficiency must be demonstrated in the following areas:

- Internal auditing
- Inspection and test methods
- Developing detailed documents
- Effective management of long-term projects and goals
- Leadership, Conflict management, Focus on objective achievements

**Requirements (training and/or experience)**:

- B.A. / B.S. in Quality Assurance or Industrial Engineering, preferably or related experience in the Quality field may be substituted.
- 2-3 years’ experience in Quality and Engineering practices and system compliance.
- Sector knowledge / activity sector: Automotive, Manufacturing, Industrial, Plastic extrusion or Textile.
- Experience in International/Global settings.
- Languages - fluent in English, French would be an asset
- Software tools: Google SUITE and relevant software’s. Proficiency in Microsoft SUITE. Quality Monitor by Northwest Analytics
