- Localization QA Specialists are involved throughout the localization cycle and participate in the creation and execution of manual and/or automated testing protocols. You will gain valuable experience in a highly dynamic and professional software development environment, while being encouraged to provide innovation toward our ongoing success.**WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with a major in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related program
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills-
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Advanced organizational abilities, and attention to detail
- Strong team player, self-starter, and pro-active
- Commitment to continually expanding knowledge and understanding in relevant areas
- Desired: Ability to speak more than one language, or an equivalent appreciation for the inherent complexity of linguistics.**YOU ARE GREAT AT**:Approaching new opportunities with a curious mind and open attitude.
- Developing project plans, managing time, and executing on defined strategy.-
- Identifying and solving issues or disagreements, whether system or product, defining causes and performing corrective/preventative action.
- Directing your deliveries to timelines and product quality, including responsiveness and professionalism toward all affected stakeholders.This job requires you to work from our Waterloo or Richmond Hill office 2-3 days per week. OpenText has a Flexible Work policy in Canada. This requires employees to be located proximate to an OpenText office so that they can come to the office 2-3 days per week.
