**The Job: Purchaser**. The Purchaser is responsible for sourcing and buying a large variety of materials and services. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our company obtains the best quality products at the most competitive prices on schedule. This Monday to Friday, full-time dayshift positions will require personnel to reliably commute to work.
- Purchasing of raw materials from various vendors.
- Purchasing of commercial items
- Purchasing of shop items and tools.
- Vendor follow-up and management.
- Send RFQs to different suppliers to secure the best pricing and lead times.
- Issue POs for purchases.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of Purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing and procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with purchasing software and systems
- Familiar with ERP systems; experience with EPICOR is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles, practices, and procedures
- Strong understanding of legal and ethical issues related to purchasing and procurement.

**Salary**: $25.50-$29.50 per hour
