Nature Interpreter

**The Opportunity**

Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC), one of the nation’s leading conservation organizations, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Nature Interpreter. Based at the Harry J. Enns Wetland Discovery Centre in Stonewall, MB, the Nature Interpreter will bring the outdoors to life for our visitors with daily tours, canoeing, school groups, and more.

**Responsibilities**
- Deliver pre-booked guided programs for school/youth groups and birthday parties.
- Greet and assist visitors, provide information and respond to requests for information regarding wetlands and their management.
- Act as exhibit host and ensure that the facilities are ready to always receive visitors
- Operate basic technical and scientific equipment related to programs.

**Details**
- Hourly rate is $15.00- $15.50.
- Some evening and weekend work may be required.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with youth and/or the public
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Enthusiasm for the environment, wildlife, and conservation
- A background or strong knowledge in ecology, zoology, natural history or related topics is an asset
- Bilingualism is considered an asset
- Training will be provided
