Grader Operator

We are currently seeking a **Road Grader Operator** to maintain roads around Weyakwin,Saskatchewan. This project is a seasonal project that will end in October. In this seasonal full time position you will be responsible to operator either a 140m or 160m Grader and maintain approximately 200km of gravel road around the community of Weyakwin, SK.

**More specifically, you will**:

- Operate the grader ( 140m or 160m) and maintain the gravel roads as per clients’ specifications.
- Operate the powered mobile equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all PBN policies, Client policies and relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the project requirements.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on various pieces of heavy equipment; including daily greasing and preventative maintenance
- Equipment is to be left in a clean state at the end of every shift, including the removal of garbage & personal belongings from the cab
- Have a valid drivers license
- Hold the proper PME certificates, and have previous road grader experience
- Ability to work alone
- have knowledge on basic maintenance of the heavy equipment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

**Salary**: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Prince Albert, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Road Grader: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
