- Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 5 years of combined work experience in Child Welfare including **a minimum 2 years experience and**

**knowledge of child abuse investigations process**; and experience with case management, supervisory and
management administration functions.
- Extensive working knowledge of CFS legislation, Child Abuse Regulations and Provincial Standards.
- Experience chairing meetings and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a coordinative and consultative role.
- Strong experience working with the Intake Module and the CFS Application.
- Proven capacity to work with confidential and highly sensitive material.
- Understanding of Indigenous and multi-cultural experience & demonstrated skill working cross culturally.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills; demonstrated leadership skills; demonstrated
- ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines; able to work effectively under pressure.- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work on both desktop and laptop, with demonstrated

proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.

A valid driver’s license and a vehicle with $2,000,000 liability insurance is a requirement of this position. A satisfactory
criminal records check, prior contact check and a check of the Child Abuse Registry is a requirement of all ANCR
employment positions. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

**DUTIES**:

- Coordinating four child abuse committees on behalf of each of the Child and Family Services Authorities.
- Acting as a resource and providing consultation to Abuse Supervisors, Abuse Investigators and other child
- welfare agencies on child abuse committee issues.- Providing staff and committee member orientation and training with respect to the Child Abuse Committees.
- Ensuring information is recorded on the Child and Family Services Information System and reported for entry on
- the child abuse registry in accordance with regulations and standards.- Administers the Four Child Abuse Committee meetings, specifically arranging, attending and chairing these
- meetings;- Compiling Child Abuse Committee statistics.
- Providing supervision and oversight to administrative assistant, and coverage for other supervisors in the

program.
