Private Nanny

We are a busy professional couple looking for a permanent full-time live-out nanny to join our current full-time nanny to help provide child care support for our four children, aged 6.5, 4.5, 2.5, and 3.5 months. The three oldest children are in school and daycare on weekdays typically between 7:30AM and 5PM. We are hoping to bring someone on for a two-year period, if possible. Hours would generally be from 6:30AM to 8:00PM most days, 3-4 days per week (including the potential for weekend coverage), depending on the availability of the applicant and our current care provider. Additional hours outside of this would be considered on a week-to-week basis depending on the availability of the applicant, but not expected or required.

We would expect the successful applicant to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and wash / iron clothing and household linens. With regards to the children, we would expect all of the following duties to be performed: bathe, dress and feed infants and children, prepare infants and children for rest periods, change diapers for infants, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, tend to emotional well-being of children, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, supervise and care for children.

Previous childcare experience is an asset, a criminal record check is required, and the successful applicant would be expected to provide their own transportation to the work location, our residential home. If the applicant had the ability to safely and reliably transport our children to and from school and/or events and activities, we would increase the rate of pay and consider bonus pay to cover for gas and other related expenses as well.

**Salary**: $14.00-$22.00 per hour
