Freshly renovated and newly redesigned, the Woodbourne Inn and The Kent Motel are currently looking for a talented and detailed part-time Housekeeping Attendant who shares the passion and values of the Sweetwater Hospitality Group. Authenticity, Excellence, Beauty, Positive Engagement and Responsibility.

The Housekeeping Team plays a core role in the full guest experience. Reporting to the Housekeeping Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining our high standard of cleanliness and detail for guest rooms and public areas of the properties. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic and passionate about quality. We are a small and strong team, looking for a fast learner who can work well with us. We communicate frequently about how we can continually get better and work smarter, always striving to provide our guests with the best possible experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Consistently offer a professional, engaging and friendly service.
- Ensure the cleanliness of guest rooms, service areas & public spaces.
- Making beds, changing sheets and towels.
- Cleaning washroom facilities.
- Vacuuming floors, draperies and upholstered furniture.
- Dusting of furniture and fixtures.
- Removal and sorting of linen, garbage and recycling.
- Assist guests with concerns and requests in a timely manner.
- Comply with all department policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Follow and proactively promote all health and safety policies and initiatives.
- Report all concerns related to Housekeeping Lead and Hotel Manager.

**Preferred qualifications & skills**
- Previous hotel cleaning and customer service experiences are an asset.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand or walk for an extended time period.
- Flexible and energetic with the ability to work under pressure.
- Literacy skills - reading, writing, and speaking.
- Organized and strong time management and interpersonal skills.
- Work well independently and in a team environment with minimum supervision.
- Self-motivated, honest, creative, capable of working in a team environment.

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
