**JOB TITLE**:Six Nations Community Liaison Person of Haudenosaunee Ancestry

**LOCATION**:Brantford, ON

Grand Erie District School Board represents more than 28,000 students in 58 elementary schools and 14 secondary schools within the City of Brantford and the counties of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk, as well as students from Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. With a dedicated staff of more than 2,900, Grand Erie Is committed to learning, leading and Inspiring. The Education Centre Is located In Brantford

**Major Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Person of Haudenosaunee ancestry who is knowledgeable and demonstrates a positive working relationship with the Six Nations community
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Services field (preferably with courses in guidance and/or counselling) is required
- Experience working with Six Nations youth and their families
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Knowledge of Ministry of Education Enrollment Instructions
- Proficient in the use of computers
- Experience with PowerSchool and electronic record keep is an asset
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required

**Job Specifications**

**Hours of Work**
- Full-time, 35 hours per week**Rate of Pay**
- $53,127 to $62,688 full time annual salary
- A competitive benefits plan is available through a provincial benefits trust plan**Effective Date**
- As soon as can be mutually agreed upon- **by May 15, 2024, at 4:00 p.m.**
