**About the role**

We are looking for a Development Assistant to join us in our development team. You will be assisting our Project Manager.

Your responsibilities include:

- Support the manager in managing the development, implementation and monitoring of processes
- Support the manager's day to day schedule for meetings
- Writing and managing RFP’s, contracts, addendums, change orders and purchase orders
- Creating and managing multiple track sheets including costs, project statutes, schedules etc.
- Scheduling meetings, managing recurring meeting agendas and minutes
- Coordinating public engagement events
- Administrative support, as required by the Development team, such as preparing correspondence, maintaining current and accurate files
- Completing ongoing updates of template documents
- Tracking municipal planning & policy engagement activities
- Assisting in occasional front desk relief
- Additional work scope per both agreement

**About You**

Experience with real estate development.

Strong portfolio to prove artistic skills

Expert knowledge of zoning requirements and city bylaw.

Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards

Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software

Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions

Visual awareness and an eye for detail

Communication and project management skills

**Salary**: $16.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Development/Design/Build: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- Mandarin (preferred)
