**Key Deliverables**
- Accountable for preparation of timely and accurate detailed manufacturing cost reports.
- Provide analysis of operating results, including cost and spending trends and manufacturing cost variances from budget.
- Support management with relevant cost analysis on special projects.
- Perform analyses and reconciliations of general ledger accounts, as assigned, and investigates variances.
- Support the month-end process relative to cost and other accounting related activities.
- Support operations and administrative personnel in achieving the cost controlling and budget management goals of the Company.
- Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports including the annual business plan.
- Support the preparation of the annual business plan through data collection and analysis, and the creation and delivery of reports and schedules.

**Core Competencies and Skills Required**
- Must have a university degree, preferably with a major in accounting.
- Must have a professional accounting designation (CPA).
- Demonstrated advanced capability in using Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of cost accounting principles and cost variance analysis.
- Strong organizational skills are required in order to complete multiple tasks within restrictive time frames.
- Experience working in a team atmosphere is an asset.
- Requires excellent communication skills.
- Requires strong problem solving and decision-making skills as well as the ability to identify and initiate opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
