**Land and Right of Way Representative Responsibilities**:

- Assume the role of property representative on the project team.
- Conduct negotiations and property acquisitions.
- Meet and liaise with program partners, project staff, public and private organizations and agencies when required to discuss project deliverables and related issues.
- Understand and carry out client’s policies and procedures.
- Consult in person, by telephone and electronically with clients, contractors, owners and stakeholders.
- Prepare, complete and administer all client approved agreements, easements, licenses and other documents as required.
- Research, review and propose recommendations regarding proposed subdivisions, rezoning, establishment of rights-of-way, road closures.
- Collaborate with land developers and government officials regarding proposals affecting rights-of-way.
- Communicate with land owners regarding proposed proximity of ongoing and future works.
- Conduct site investigations as required.

**Required Skills**:

- Completion of a recognized post-secondary diploma program in land use and property management or equivalent, with minimum 3 years direct related experience.
- Productively use MS Office including Word, and Excel.
- Must be able to understand and become skilled in client and other third-party database and internet sites.
- As this position requires local in-person contact, preference will be given to those residing in British Columbia or Alberta.
- Must have a valid driver’s licence.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $4,956.00-$5,016.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- land and right of way or real estate: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Surrey, BC
