We have acquired and appraised thousands of properties for various infrastructure projects such as transportation, pipeline, water, energy and telecommunications projects. Our clients range from public organizations including federal, provincial and municipal governments to large private utility, communication and engineering corporations.

We are a company that works in a niche, growing industry that is a crucial part of every major infrastructure project. Our company provides land negotiating, acquisition and administrative consulting services.

The Zenith Group is comprised of varying personalities of land agents and administrators who work together to provide solutions to manage, meet and exceedour client’s expectations. **Land and Right of Way Representative Responsibilities**:

- Assume the role of property representative on the project team.
- Conduct negotiations and property acquisitions.
- Meet and liaise with program partners, project staff, public and private organizations and agencies when required to discuss project deliverables and related issues.
- Understand and carry out client’s policies and procedures.
- Consult in person, by telephone and electronically with clients, contractors, owners and stakeholders.
- Prepare, complete and administer all client approved agreements, easements, licenses and other documents as required.
- Research, review and propose recommendations regarding proposed subdivisions, rezoning, establishment of rights-of-way, road closures.
- Collaborate with land developers and government officials regarding proposals affecting rights-of-way.
- Communicate with land owners regarding proposed proximity of ongoing and future works.
- Conduct site investigations as required.

**Required Skills**:

- Completion of a recognized post-secondary diploma program in land use and property management or equivalent, with minimum 3 years direct related experience.
- Productively use MS Office including Word, and Excel.
- Must be able to understand and become skilled in client and other third-party database and internet sites.
- As this position requires local in-person contact, preference will be given to those residing in British Columbia or Alberta.
- Must have a valid driver’s licence.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $4,956.00-$5,016.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- land and right of way or real estate: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Surrey, BC
