This role is for The Covenant by [P1], a subsidiary business of the the organization dedicated to training and mentoring the creators of virtual and augmented reality experiences and games.

**Role description**

We are offering a unique contract remote role for a Game Producer. In this position, you will oversee multiple autonomous teams, each comprising 7 to 12 game developers. Our goal is to assemble teams that complement each other and we mobilize them to succeed as a team. As a Game Producer, your primary responsibility is to guide these teams towards creating marketable games.

Your duties will include the daily management of game development projects. This involves developing and maintaining project schedules and ensuring timely delivery. The teams primarily use Unity and Unreal Engine; however, extensive knowledge of these engines is not a prerequisite.

**Qualifications**
- The Basic Qualifications:_
- Leading and motivating teams.
- Setting and managing deadlines.
- Conducting retrospectives effectively.
- Maintaining a positive attitude - a crucial element in fostering a successful team culture.

If you have a positive attitude and reasonable experience in leadership and game development, achieving these is relatively easy.
- The Advanced Qualifications:_
- A fundamental understanding of game design & game scope
- Knowledge of marketing strategies for games.

Understanding how to scope games, discerning what makes them enjoyable, and ensuring their market success are the greatest challenges and qualifications needed for this opportunity.

**Tips**
- This is a continuous contract requiring 2-3 hours of commitment on weekdays.
- You don't need to understand AR/VR to take on this challenge.
- Applicants should provide evidence of their experience in creating and marketing a game.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

**Salary**: From $2,500.00 per month
