Production Labourer

**JOB OPPORTUNITY**:
**ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES**:

- Inspecting poles for quality specifications, using hand tools and chainsaw.
- Operation of heavy equipment, skid steer, front end wheel loader, dump truck.
- Maintenance of tools, equipment, and mill.
- Manual shoveling of bark, snow, wood shavings.
- Operation of pole peeler.

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Experience**:

- Working in saw/pole mill or industrial operations is an asset.
- Running and maintaining chainsaws.
- Operating heavy equipment.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
- Ability to work full days afield in a variety of climates is necessary.

**SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**:

- Chain saw experience
- OFA Leve 1
- Equipment Operating experience
- Able to follow WorkSafeBC guidelines and demonstrate safe work practices.
- Ability to keep accurate records and submit reports.
- Technical Learning - ability to learn and comprehend new technical skills and knowledge.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
