**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Reading and interpreting sketches and blueprints to determine the materials required for a project, including for both new masonry work on residential and commercial buildings, as well as restoration work on heritage buildings.
- Cutting and shaping bricks, stone, and concrete blocks to specifications using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Laying bricks, concrete blocks, stone, structural tiles, and other materials to construct or repair walls, foundations, and other structures in residential, industrial, and commercial settings, including restoration work on heritage buildings.
- Building residential and commercial chimneys and fireplaces, as well as building masonry shells of industrial chimneys.
- Constructing and installing prefabricated masonry units.
- Building patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations using bricks or other masonry units.
- Restoring, cleaning, and re-surfacing existing masonry structures as needed.
- Ensuring safety compliance in their work
- Maintaining an accurate project schedule

**Wage/Salary**:$34.00/hour

**Benefits**:Full Extended Health Benefits after 12 months of employment

**Hours Per Week**:40 hours per week

**Location of Work**:Reporting to and operating from #107 - 3231 No. 6 Road, Richmond, BC, V6V 0C2, but will be dispatched to various worksites across the Lower Mainland

**Education**:No Minimum Education Requirements

**Work Experience**:At least 3 years of brickmasonry, bricklaying or stonemasonry experience required in a non-labourer role

**Skills**:Must be able to lift at least 70lbs and work outside in all weather conditions
