**Job purpose**

A compounder to manufacture Germiphene’s product line. To perform various manual tasks in the compounding of raw materials to create batches of product to be used in the packaging process, while meeting production & quality standards as set out by the Company.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Preparing all the manufacturing equipment required for the manufacturing of each batch
- Handling of chemical substances
- Pre-weigh all raw materials required and accurately register all information required in the working batch ticket
- Manufacture each batch according to compounding orders without deviation
- Transfer finished product to different containers
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the compounding area as well as in the raw materials warehouse
- Assist R&D and Quality Control in raw material sampling procedures
- Collaborate in the follow up and maintenance of cycle counting of raw materials
- Perform the cleaning and cleaning verification of the fixed equipment located in the manufacturing area
- Fill in completely and accurately batch tickets and related logbooks within the prescribed timeline
- Perform all activities within the Compounding Department in adherence to CGMP and safety requirements and implement corrective actions as required
- Will follow the responsibilities as outlined in the Ontario Health and Safety Act
- Comply with ISO 9001 specifications and GMP regulations
- Operation of tow motor when necessary
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

**Qualifications**

**Skills/Abilities/Characteristics**:

- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Attention to detail.
- Good math and equation skills.
- Ability to work on a team.
- Ability to follow instructions with accuracy

**Experience**:

- One year experience in a production environment preferred.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical production environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of GMPs is preferred.

**Working conditions**
- Work is performed in manufacturing environment.
- Employees may be exposed to varying temperatures of air and water.
- The floor may be slippery.
- Exposure to cleaning agents and strong smells.
- The environment can be busy, noisy and will need excellent organizational and time and stress management skills to complete the required tasks.

- Lift, carry, push and/or pull items up to a maximum of 25 kilograms
- Ability to communicate with others with accuracy
- Ability to read a variety of materials; including SOP’s, order requests, safety labels and work instructions
- Possess dexterity of hands and fingers to operate equipment
- Ability to stand and walk, bend at the waist, kneel or crouch
- Sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Climb a step stool or ladder and reach hands above shoulders
- Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
