We are a thriving hair salon located in the heart of downtown Halifax, and we are currently looking for an experienced and passionate Hair Stylist to join our team.

As a Hair Stylist with us, you will be responsible for providing our clients with top-quality hair care services. You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, and will use your expertise to create customized hairstyles that exceed their expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing a wide range of hair care services, including haircuts, coloring, styling, and treatments
- Consulting with clients to understand their individual needs and preferences
- Recommending and selling hair care products to clients
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest hair care trends and techniques

**Requirements**:

- A valid hair styling license
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in hair styling
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- The ability to work well in a team environment
- A passion for hair care and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 35-40 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
- Tips

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Halifax, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- hair styling: 2 years (required)

Work Location: In person
