Woodworking Assistant

Busy woodworking shop. Looking to add an assistant for the shop's lead hand. Experience would be a plus but not mandatory. Willing to train hard-working people. We also recently implemented a 4-day work week. Tuesday to Friday. Yes, that means a 3-day weekend every week.

The following are some of the job responsibilities;
Daily cleaning of the shop

Sanding and finishing of products

Table saw ripping and cross-cutting

Gluing up laminated panels

Assisting the shipper with packaging products

This is a great job for someone looking to get into woodworking or further their knowledge. It is a fast-paced work environment with a great team environment. This is not seasonal or a temporary job, the position is permanent.

Having a car and a G license would be cosidered an asset as well.

**Salary**: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ancaster, ON L9G 0H7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- General Labor: 1 year (preferred)
