The mechanical planner works closely with the sales and administrative team by ensuring the follow-up of the complete cycle of customer requests, bids, planning, and scheduling until the delivery of services. He/she communicates information concerning the mandates to be prepared and executed with all the internal team members.

**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE**
- Evaluation of mandates/bids
- Collaborates with internal teams and participates in the evaluation of mandates and bids.
- Identify deliverables and ensure the evaluation of mandates in terms of time, material, and expenses
- Proactively follows up on contract renewals with the sales team.

Technical Workforce Planning
- Implements the work plan with the technical team, schedules, assigns work, disseminates schedules and information required to complete assignments.
- Ensures that the availability of technical teams is updated in the planning file, including vacations, training, and resumption of time banks.
- Anticipates the workload of mandates in order to provide the necessary resources in a timely manner (technician, type of mandate, region).
- Contacts clients to confirm execution dates and validates OHS requirements.
- Integrates material resource requirements into the planning process.
- Participates in the follow-up and planning of the technical team's training.
- Distributes weekly work schedules to the technical team.
- By his interventions aims to minimize the operating costs and travel of the technical team members.

Administrative management
- Supports the administrative coordinators in order to ensure smooth and optimized operations in the management of internal and external business information.

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL**
- Diploma in industrial mechanics an asset.
- Experience working in a management position where rigorous work is essential.
- Effective communicator with all levels of stakeholders in French and English, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, team-based environment.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and comfortable in a changing work environment.
- Customer focus that ensures an exceptional rapport with our customers.
- OHS orientation that aligns with our company values.
- Professional attitude, ability to engage with co-workers, self-starter and creative.
- Demonstrated skills in continuous improvement
