Little Brown Jug is a brewery at the heart of Winnipeg’s Exchange District. Since opening in December 2016, Little Brown Jug has built a driven, professional,
dynamic team that is encouraged to take initiative and provide input into business decisions. This role will collaborate with the Packaging Manager and work closely
with other LBJ management. As a production brewery, summer is Little Brown Jug's high-season and the production team scales to meet demand, requiring
additional efforts for short but intense periods of time.

DUTIES:
- Meaningfully contribute to high-level decision making and strategic planning
- Lead brewing team: build accountability, develop independent workers and cultivate team wellbeing
- Plan brew schedule; plan packaging schedule in coordination with packaging manager
- Manage raw material inventory; maintain records of brewer & cellar activities
- Operate an efficient brewhouse and cellar and supervise all plant operations; develop and review company operating procedures
- Manage quality control for all brewery operations and packaged product, oversee laboratory practices, records and data. Make evidence-based decisions and take corrective action
- Contribute and drive special projects like maintenance of mobile draught systems, seasonal line-ups, exclusive taproom offerings and ongoing research and development
- Maintain brewery and lab cleanliness standards
- Provide a safe workplace for staff and visitors that meets workplace health and safety requirements including establishing and maintaining emergency protocols
- Meet all health/food safety regulatory
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Formal training in brewing/science AND 2 years
- production experience
- Experience operating laboratory for food safety
- purposes
- Leadership experience that illustrates your ability to
- drive a team towards specific results
- Ability to take initiative and identify and resolve
- brewery related technical issues.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent judgment and ability to promote a safe
- work environment
- Staggered shift work, some overtime may be required
Pay: $17.27-$35.00 per hour
