Equipment Inventory Clerk

Reporting to the Equipment Manager, the Equipment Inventory Clerk will work ‘hands-on’, and have the ability to work with a variety customers. This position will perform administrative work and a variety of functions within the Detailed Equipment Team.

- Agit comme premier point de contact pour les questions des clients et les problèmes liés à l'inventaire des équipements lourds.
- Administrer les documents d'expédition et de réception relatifs au mouvement de l'équipement à destination et en provenance du site d'enchères, et saisir les informations connexes dans les systèmes logiciels appropriés
- Identifier avec précision les numéros de série de l'équipement, enregistrer les descriptions de base de l'équipement et étiqueter correctement l'équipement.
- Promouvoir une culture où la santé et la sécurité de nos employés et de nos clients sont la priorité absolue de tous.
- Fournir une assistance au reste de l'équipe d'inspection détaillée de l'équipement (DEI).
- Aider l’équipe des ventes à effectuer des évaluations et des écritures sur le terrain entre les périodes de pointe, selon les besoins.
- Soutenez activement l’engagement non réservé de RB envers la sécurité : envoyer tout le monde à la maison, tous les jours, la façon dont ils sont arrivés au travail, en prenant la responsabilité personnelle de votre sécurité et de votre sécurité de votre équipe, de vos collègues et de vos clients
- Exécuter d'autres tâches telles qu'elles ont été assignées.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acts as the first point of contact for customer questions and issues related to the heavy equipment inventory.
- Administer shipping & receiving documents related to the movement of the equipment to and from the auction site, and enter related information into the appropriate software systems
- Accurately identify equipment serial numbers, record basic equipment descriptions and label the equipment correctly.
- Promote a culture where the health and safety of our employees and customers is top priority for all.
- Provide assistance as required to the rest of the Detailed Equipment Inspection (DEI) Team.
- Assist the Sales team with appraisals and write-ups in the field between peak periods, as required.
- Actively support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: to send everyone home, every day, the way they came to work, by taking personal responsibility for your safety and safety of your team, co-workers and customers
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 to 2+ years of Administrative Support experience Knowledge of - or the desire to learn about
- construction equipment and trucks.
- Proficient with computers and good working knowledge / experience using MS Office Suite products (e.g. Word, Excel). Documentation processing experience is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- You must be process-oriented and comfortable adhering to company policies and procedures to be successful in this role.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent organizational skills. You’re the type that leaves no detail unattended.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented and self-directed, and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively. You thrive working as part of a team and pitch-in wherever needed.
