**Description**:
Reporting to the Manager of the Recreation Division, the incumbent will be the scheduling/relations lead (arenas, gyms, baseball/softball diamonds and sports fields). Work will involve scheduling, providing support and serving as a liaison to various community-based groups and organizations that utilize municipally scheduled facilities. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for the website, social media, and communications within the Recreation & Culture Division.

**Position Specifications**:

- Input master facility schedule, with key focus on arenas.
- Coordinate seasonal facility schedules with Recreation Leaders.
- Facility user group account relations.
- Overseeing facilities and equipment (inclusive of budget and operational requirements).
- Online recreation facility booking system super user and team training lead.
- Preparing correspondence and reports.
- Facility data and analytic coordination.
- Recreation & Culture Division website content creation and maintenance.
- Recreation & Culture Division social media channels digital content coordinator.
- Recreation and Culture Division communications lead.
- Recreation card program coordination.
- Other related duties as required.

**Education and Experience**:
**Graduation from a recognized University with a minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology, Recreation and Sport Administration, Physical Education, or other related area, with a minimum of five years of related work experience. Ability to communicate in both official languages will be considered an asset.**

**Knowledge and Desired Skills**:

- **A minimum of five years’ experience in a related position.**:

- Experience working with a municipal online facility booking software is preferred.
- Minimum three to five years' experience in social media and digital content coordination
- Work as a team player in a fast-paced environment dealing with facility scheduling and coordination.
- Strong facilitative, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
- Well developed and concise oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have proficient working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, One Drive).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $68,479.89-$90,307.86 per year
