Intact Investment Management Inc. (“IIM”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Intact Financial Corporation. Located in Montreal, QC, IIM is a growing team of in-house investment professionals who manage over $30 billion in assets for institutional investors, including IFC and its subsidiaries’ and pension funds' assets.

We are currently looking for an **Accounting Specialist, Investment Reporting** to join the team responsible for the reporting of our investments around the world.

Location: Montreal (2020 Robert-Bourassa)

**About the role**

**What you will do here**:

- Perform financial close processes including system feeds, key internal controls, and validation of end results in a timely manner and with the highest level of quality.
- Participate in the production of external financial information related to investments including the financial statements of the Group and legal entities, Management reports and Canadian regulatory reporting.
- Participate in the production of internal reporting on investment results for multiple entities in different countries.
- Work closely with other Finance teams (FP&A and Capital) on the integration of our investments results in the global reporting.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Continuously improve accounting and internal control processes through automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

**What you bring to the table**:

- CPA designation or successfully passed the CFE.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience or experience in an audit firm.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Independent and efficient, team player.
- Interested in and curious about investments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
