**Who We Are**:
Squamish Nation consists of 23 villages and is comprised of descendants of the Coast Salish Aboriginal people who live in the present-day Greater Vancouver area, Gibson’s Landing, and Squamish River watershed. The Squamish Nation has occupied and governed the territory since beyond recorded history. The Squamish Nation's culture is rich and resilient. We continue to practice our customs and traditions, which are strongly interconnected with our traditional territory. Together with our lands, our customs and traditions are the foundations of who we are as Skwxwú7mesh.

As an organization, we provide support to the greater Squamish Nation Community through service. With 12 departments with individual areas of expertise, we ensure Community Members have access to necessary programs and services.

**About The Opportunity**:
Working as an integral part of the Ta7lneẁás Education, Employment and Training Department, this position reports directly to the Manager Advocacy, Support and Assessment. This position acts as a liaison between all schools that our students attend, including SD44, SD45, Independent/Private and Parochial schools, other Squamish Nation departments, and the families. This position provides guidance, support and resources for students and families in their homes and in the schools with respect to inclusive education, advocacy, programming and services. Provides frontline academic, social, emotional, cultural and overall support to students. Makes appropriate referrals to other departments, remedial support, tutoring, and any other resource to support positive educational outcomes.

**Salary**: $ 64,836.99 - $ 72,529.51 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits program.
