**Department**: Operations

**Reports To**: Director, Clinic Operations

**Location**: Vancouver or Surrey Clinic

**Work Schedule**:Monday to Friday
- 7.5 hours per day/37.5 hours per week

**Overview**:

- Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose, and Commitment of Olive Fertility Centre:_

Reporting to the Director, Clinic Operations, the Referral Coordinator is pivotal to the organization - this being the first voice and first face many of our new patients will see.

**Key Areas of Involvement Include**:
**Referral Coordinator**
- Triaging new referrals to determine what testing patients need to complete prior to consultation.
- Booking new patient consultations for specific physicians based on patient history.
- Uploading all patient requisitions and managing patient portal access
- Participate in departmental meetings and in-service education sessions as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
**Education, Training and Experience**:

- Grade 12 graduation
- Minimum of two (2) years related experience.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Polite and friendly demeanour
- Quick with tasks and accurate
- Proficiency with answering multi-line switchboard without losing calls or missing calls.
- Ability to discuss intimate topics related to infertility in a professional, compassionate manner.
- Professional, friendly demeanour that can effectively defuse difficult situations and put patients at ease.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Punctual - ready and physically performing required tasks at the start of each shift.
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to speak and write fluently in English.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
