About The Role

What You’ll Do

**Broker Standards**:
Educate Ontario regional colleagues on Hub Ontario Broker Operations Standards

Ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies (RIBO, FSRA, CSIO, CISRO), including development of new best practices in response to regulatory changes.

Review quarterly file audit reports, identify areas of improvement, and advise leadership teams for workflow enhancements.

Maintain and update Ontario Broker Standards document regularly.

**Operations**:
Manage the Unlicensed Insurance placements for Ontario region, including documentation for Provincial remittances and liaising with government bodies.

Oversee the Certificate Issuance workflows (CertExchange and CSR24).

Assist in onboarding and transitioning acquisitions to Epic and HUB Way workflows.

Act as designated accounting approver, reviewing cheque requests and write-offs.

**Workflows**:
Focus on standardized workflows, particularly in Commercial Lines, ensuring operational compliance and efficiency.

Consult on workflows to identify and address inefficiencies, utilizing available tools for optimal outcomes.

Collaborate with regional and corporate teams on new workflows and project initiatives.

**Committees**:
Participate in HUB Corporate committees, contributing insights and representing Ontario's interests in national initiatives.

What You’ll Need for Success

Must have at least 5 years of Commercial Lines experience.

Experience with Applied Epic (broker management system).

RIBO Licensed. Preferred Unrestricted RIBO License or working towards.

Bachelor's degree (An asset)

Experience in insurance operations, regulatory compliance, and project management.

Strong understanding of brokerage operations and regulatory frameworks.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
