Vancouver, Canada Keltic Development Full time

**General Requirements**:
Play a key role on Keltic’s Finance & Accounting team by owning the Payables process and ensuring that payment transactions are captured, approved and processed efficiently, and in accordance with company guidelines and internal control policies.

Work closely with the Project Accountants on Keltic’s portfolio of active development and construction projects:

- Create Purchase Orders (PO) and Change Orders (CO).
- Monitor A/P inbox to capture all incoming requests for payment.
- Code invoices and submit to appropriate workflows for approval.
- Use Sage 300 Job Cost Module to accurately code costs, track hold-backs, compare actual to budget and monitor commitments.
- Payment processing - cheque issuance, online transfers, EFT, wire payments.

Work closely with Corporate Accounting on Keltic group of companies/partnerships:

- Payables and payment processing.
- Intercompany transactions.
- GST filling and remittances
- Account reconciliations.
- Facilitating all other transaction, analysis, and hoc tasks as required by management
- Month
- end closing and report generation
- Budget tracking, assist with cash forecasting

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Post secondary certificate or diploma
- Minimum two years of accounting work experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to think critically and logically
- Excellent computer skills -MS Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to prioritize, manage tasks, and meet deadlines
- Ability to implement processes and controls to ensure data integrity and follow corporate policy and procedure
- Ability to work with cross functional partners and maintain positive working relationships
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to forge effective relationships through all organizational levels and with customers
- Experience in job cost/project accounting is an asset
- Experience in Sage 300 is an asset

**Salary**: $37,420.65-$57,000.00 per year
