In this role, **YOU WILL**:

- Set an annual calendar of farm visits in your territory, schedule visits, prepare result reports, coordinate further contacts, and follow-up
- Promote Holstein Canada services to producers via farm visits, meetings, conferences and trade shows
- Assist producers with updating registrations and other record-keeping
- Set and achieve client recruitment and client retention goals
- Conduct Cattle Assessments, under DFC’s proAction® Animal Care pillar
- Participate in bi-weekly knowledge transfer and team building exercises

**YOU OFFER**:

- 3 years’ work experience including building productive client relationships
- Post-secondary education in agriculture or a related field, or relevant experience
- Passion for dairy industry; strong understanding of the business needs of dairy

producers in West-Central, Ontario, Canada
- Familiar with on-farm software and technologies
- Proficient in creating presentations, spreadsheets and written documents
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- Ability to travel (approximately 70% of the time)

Dans ce poste, **VOS TÂCHES SERONT LES SUIVANTES**:

- Établir un calendrier annuel des visites de ferme sur votre territoire, programmer les visites, préparer les rapports de résultats, coordonner les contacts ultérieurs et assurer le suivi.
- Promouvoir les services de Holstein Canada auprès des producteurs lors des visites de ferme, des réunions, des conférences et des foires commerciales.
- Aider les producteurs à mettre à jour les enregistrements et à tenir d’autres registres.
- Fixer et atteindre des objectifs de recrutement et de fidélisation des clients.
- Effectuer des évaluations de bovins dans le cadre du programme de bien-être des animaux proAction® des PLC.
- Participer à des exercices de transfert de connaissances et de renforcement de l’esprit d’équipe toutes les deux semaines.

**VOS COMPÉTENCES**:

- Trois ans d’expérience professionnelle, notamment dans l’établissement de relations productives avec les clients
- Études postsecondaires en agriculture ou dans un domaine connexe, ou expérience équivalente
- Passion pour l’industrie laitière; bonne compréhension des besoins commerciaux des producteurs laitiers du Centre-Ouest de l’Ontario (Canada)
- Connaissance des logiciels et des technologies utilisés à la ferme
- Habileté à créer des présentations, des feuilles de calcul et des documents écrits
- Compétences exceptionnelles en matière de gestion du temps et d’organisation
- Capacité de voyager (environ 70 % du temps)

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $48,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
