Playground is rapidly expanding and is currently seeking an experienced **_Security Officer _**to join our team.

**_ Schedule: Fridays 7PM-2AM, Saturday 9PM-5AM, Sunday 9PM-5AM (additional variable shifts will be available to pick up)_**

**Who you are**:
We are looking for a **_Security Officer_** to undertake the surveillance of our premises and protection of our staff and guests. Your main responsibilities include overseeing floor activities, detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft or other criminal behavior. You will also assist, respond and guide emergency plans to ensure the security and well-being of all Playground’s members. To succeed in this role, you must exemplify professionalism and integrity at all times.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Monitor the access to Playground by escorting visitors and inspecting bags
- Verify customers’ identification and confirm they meet legal standards
- Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel and guests
- Identify and report any misconduct
- Intervene, diffuse and perform removals in problematic situations
- Actively communicate with team members via radio or in person to keep personnel informed of suspicious activities.
- Interact with the Peacekeepers, when necessary, to maintain the security of all individuals
- Conducts First Aid or CPR in emergency situations
- Intervene with disturbances and intoxication of guests
- Create daily reports by recording all incidents
- Patrol premises (interior and exterior) to maintain a safe environment
- Adhere and comply with the company's policies and procedures.As well as conduct floor inspections to ensure compliance with our safety policies ensuring physical distancing protocols are being followed throughout the gaming floor

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills in English (French is an asset) & 25 years and older
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Previous working experience as an officer required (2 years).
- Experience in martial arts is an asset
- Valid Certificate in First Aid and CPR
- Physical ability to carry heavy items and stand for long hours
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays

Conveniently located just 15 minutes south of downtown Montreal in the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake, the complex currently offers over 40 poker tables and a selection of over 600 Electronic Gaming Devices (slots). In addition, Playground includes an inviting and locally renowned restaurant The Rail Coal Fire Bistro and is in the midst of an exciting expansion project that will include expanding the gaming floors, a stunning hotel and additional contemporary food and beverage outlets.

**Qui vous êtes**:
Nous recherchons un agent de sécurité pour assurer la surveillance de nos locaux et la protection de notre personnel et de nos invités. Vos principales responsabilités comprennent la supervision des activités au sol, la détection de tout comportement suspect et la prévention du vandalisme, du vol ou d'autres comportements criminels. Vous assisterez, répondrez et guiderez également les plans d'urgence pour assurer la sécurité et le bien-être de tous les membres du terrain de jeu. Pour réussir dans ce rôle, vous devez faire preuve de professionnalisme et d'intégrité en tout temps.

**Responsabilités**:

- Accueillez et assistez les clients de manière courtoise et professionnelle.
- Surveillez l'accès au terrain de jeu en escortant les visiteurs et en inspectant les sacs
- Vérifier l'identification des clients et confirmer qu'ils respectent les normes légales
- Assurer la sécurité, la sûreté et le bien-être de tout le personnel et des invités
- Identifier et signaler toute inconduite
- Intervenir, diffuser et effectuer des déménagements dans des situations problématiques
- Communiquer activement avec les membres de l'équipe par radio ou en personne pour tenir le personnel informé des activités suspectes.
