Emg Technician

**About Us**:
We are a growing private clinic specializing in neuromuscular diagnostics. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care, using state-of-the-art equipment in a welcoming environment. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate EMG Technician to join our team on a part-time basis (two days per week), with the opportunity to transition to a full-time role as the clinic continues to expand.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform high-quality Electromyography (EMG) and Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) to assist in the diagnosis of neuromuscular disorders
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and explaining the process
- Record and analyze test results, collaborating with the physician for accurate interpretation
- Maintain and calibrate EMG equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Assist in patient follow-up and provide instructions when needed

**Qualifications**:

- Certification or formal training as an EMG Technician
- Experience performing EMG/NCS in a clinical setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient care
- Registered as an EMG Technician (BRETC and A.E.T.C registration) is a plus

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $150.00-$200.00 per day

Expected hours: 12 - 18 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- Day shift
- No weekends
