**The Company**

Mainstreet Equity Corporation is a distinguished real estate company which is publicly traded on Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). Its business focus is on acquisition & upgrading of residential properties and managing its own portfolio of over 18,000 residential apartments in five major cities across Canada.

**Position Summary**

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**

Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and outside areas to identify pest infestation sources and potential entry points

Determine type of treatment required

Utilize power tools, hand tools as necessary for pest control tasks.

Fumigate apartments

Place and set traps; and install other animal control barriers as required

Check suites to confirm if they are prepared for pest treatment; and physically prepare suites if they are not prepared

Clean out areas that harbors pests

Advise managers and tenants on pest prevention methods

Post required notices for tenants for pest control treatment

Assist pest control team in moving furniture, etc.

Ensure that all work is documented and updated according to Company's policy, prepare and submit reports

Stay updated on industry trends, pest control techniques, and safety regulations.

Other relevant duties as assigned by Regional Manager

**Qualifications and Requirements**

Must possess provincial pesticide applicator license

Valid First Aid and CPR certificate will be an asset

Prior pest control experience in a residential multi-family environment will be an asset

Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools related to pest control tasks

Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Must possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle

Must successfully complete a security clearance

Physically fit
