**Sommaire du poste**:
Sous la direction générale du directeur des Services de justice pour la jeunesse et sous la supervision immédiate du directeur adjoint des Services de justice pour la jeunesse et du chef cuisinier, le cuisinier I est responsable d’offrir des services alimentaires aux programmes du Bureau des services à la jeunesse (BSJ), conformément aux politiques et aux directives du BSJ.

**Tâches principales**:

- Établir des menus standardisés dans le but d’offrir des repas nutritifs, variés et bien équilibrés.
- Préparer les menus pour régimes spéciaux à l’intentions des résidents ayant des allergies ou des besoins médicaux ou religieux.
- Faire l’entretien de la cuisine, de la salle à manger et de l’équipement.
- Surveiller/contrôler l’usage d’ustensiles par les résidents.
- Servir la nourriture, en assurant le contrôle des portions.
- Maintenir la propreté des aires de service de nourriture et de l’équipement.
- Se conformer à toutes les exigences de la loi, ainsi qu’aux politiques et procédures de l’organisme. Garantir le caractère confidentiel, les droits et les responsabilités des clients.
- Assister et participer à la supervision.
- Participer à la formation continue, tel que requis.
- S’adonner à des pratiques de travail sécuritaires établies par le BSJ et le programme.

- Certificat de base courant en cuisine ou l’équivalent.
- Connaissance des normes alimentaires.
- Un an d’expérience connexe.
- Capacité de travailler de façon autonome et à titre de membre efficace au sein d’une équipe.
- Aptitudes manifestes à l’organisation.
