**Lot Assistant**:
ARX Fencing and Logistics is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lot Assistant to join our team. As a Lot Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our facilities, ensuring the accurate handling of inventory and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- **Loading and Unloading**:

- Safely and efficiently load and unload materials, equipment, and products from delivery vehicles.
- Utilize appropriate equipment and follow established procedures to prevent damage to goods.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Verify and record incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure accuracy and completeness of stock records.
- Regularly conduct physical counts to reconcile discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
- **Inspection Sheets**:

- Thoroughly examine products and materials against inspection sheets.
- Report any discrepancies or damage promptly to the supervisor.
- Maintain detailed records of inspection outcomes.
- **Pick Sheets**:

- Accurately pick and prepare orders based on pick sheets.
- Organize picked items for efficient packing and shipping.
- **Cleanliness and Organization**:

- Maintain a clean and organized lot area, promoting a safe and efficient working environment.
- Properly dispose of waste and debris, adhering to company guidelines for recycling and waste management.
- **Communication**:

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth coordination of lot activities.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding inventory issues, damaged goods, and other relevant concerns.
- **Equipment Operation**:

- Safely operate and maintain equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery as required.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
- **Adherence to Safety Protocols**:

- Strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Participate in safety training sessions and promote a culture of safety among team members.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and forklift certification, if applicable.

**Salary**: $22.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
