- Core Chemistry. Core Chemistry is a fast-paced area where multi-tasking is critical. The successful applicant will process, organize, troubleshoot, and distribute specimens for laboratory testing and investigation. You will provide pre
- and post-analytical support for both the first trimester and second trimester prenatal screening testing. In addition, you are responsible for completing minor equipment maintenance, pipette calibration verification, thermometer calibration and inventory management. The incumbent will need to have excellent verbal and written communication as they will be contacting nursing stations, physician, medical clinics, other hospitals and various health care facilities regarding specimens. **Description**:
As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results.
