Located in the City of Whitchurch-Stouffville, Bloom Retirement Community is looking for a Dietary Aide - to fill a permanent full-time position. All services in the organization are designed to meet the needs and well-being of our residents. Create and play with flavours, textures and presentations to make a positive impact in our resident’s life
**Specifically, your daily life with us will look like**:
- Setting tables, serving meals, bussing tables, washing dishes, assisting the cook as needed and completing cleaning duties.
- Clean dining room tables and chairs as needed
- Sweep and clean dining room area
- Set tables for the next meal
- Works as part of the Food Services team to ensure smooth, efficient and safe operation of the kitchen
- Adheres to prescribed safety and sanitation practices and procedures
- Performs similar or related duties as required or directed

**Required qualifications**:
- Previous food services experience in a retirement communities, hospitality/cruise line environment
- Completion of secondary school education or equivalent;
- Food Safe Level 1 Certificate (an asset)
- Smart Serve Certificate (an asset)
- Strong written and spoken English
