_HearSay Speech & Hearing Centre_ is a private practice speech-language pathology and audiology facility which provides pediatric services (preschoolers, school age). Our primary location is in Milton with satellite speech and language therapy offices in Stoney Creek and Cambridge. HearSay provide services within the centre as well as remotely by way of virtual/video sessions. We operate amongst other rehabilitation professionals including an Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychotherapy/Psychologists, Art Therapy, as well as physicians and surgeons and other wellness professionals (osteopathy, reflexology) and other personalized training professionals.

We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to work as an independent contractor in our Milton location.

**Principal Duties**:

- Assessment and consultation to determine treatment goals/programming.
- Supervision and mentoring of support personnel who will carry out intervention plans.
- Experience with preschoolers, school age children and pre-teens since this is the majority of the clientele seen in the centre.
- Manage a team of support personnel to guide, direct, mentor and provide feedback and updates to treatment progress.
- Liaise with families by way of support personnel to provide necessary updates to families on the progression of treatment goals, and modify treatment goals as needed for subsequent treatment blocks.
- Work as part of a caring team of collaborative professionals which compliment communication disorders.
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team within the centre which includes Communicative Disorders Assistants, Audiologists, Hearing Instrument Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Literacy Coaches and Instructors.
- Offer services within a neuro-divergent affirming setting.

**Qualifications**:

- Masters degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology and/or Communication Sciences and Disorders
*Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (Reg. CASLPO)
- Professional Liability Insurance
- SAC Membership preferred
- Drivers license and access to vehicle required (cross-site services)
- Proficiency in other languages an asset
- Hanen and PROMPT training recommended
- Specific literacy training preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: minimum 20hrs per week
