Pipeline Labourers

**WE ARE LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCED LABOURERS- ALL LEVELS WELCOME TO APPLY**

Labourers are responsible for general labour duties as assigned by their supervisors.

Main Functions:

- Load and unload transport construction materials
- Provide manual labour assistance on various tasks and assignments
- Perform general construction activities, as required
- Assist heavy equipment operators, foreman, and supervisors
- Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
- Assist in initial set up and clean up of sites
- Hoist/rigging per safety standards
- Operate ancillary equipment
- wheel loaders/skid steers
- Participate in daily hazard assessments, tailgate meetings and company safety meetings
- Operate company vehicles and equipment in a safe, professional and courteous manner
- Operate basic hand tools, such as, shovels, rakes, brooms
- Operate power tools
- Assist welders and pipefitters, as required
- Direct operators of construction equipment with alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to location needs
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

- Ability to work shift work
- Ability to work out of town for periods of time
- Great degree of manual dexterity
- 2 or more years experience in construction and/or oil and gas
- Valid Class 5 License (Non GDL Preferred)
- Clean Drivers Abstract (pulled within the last 30 days)
- Ground Disturbance Level 2
- Standard First Aid
- H2S Alive
- CSO or EGSO or CSTS or PCST
- Ability to work within deadlines, under pressure, and with changing priorities
- Strong drive to get projects completed safely
- Demonstrated initiative
- Reliable transportation
- Ability and willingness to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
